The Best of Jon Aymos

I find it only right to pay respect to and honor those who by the works of their hands made it a little easier for others to achieve their dreams. Jon Aymos by the works of his hands and by sharing his gift from God of music to the world not only broke barriers and achieved success in the music industry for himself, he taught the artists around him to do it for themselves as well.

I happen to be one of those individuals. I had the privilege to work with J.A with my own personal projects as well as the opportunity to network and collaborate with him on projects for up and coming artists as well. The things that I learned from him simply won’t be taught in any classroom and are priceless to me as an industry professional.

One of the most important things that he exemplified was being about more than music. For as big as music was a part of his life it was only a fraction in comparison to everything else he offered the world. He was a beloved son to his parents, father to his children, and a brother and companion to many of us that had the opportunity to know him.

Most of all (to myself as well as many others) he was an inspiration. He was an inspiration because through the adversities, trials, or tribulations he faced in his life it never stopped him from chasing his dreams with a smile on his face. He was a constant reminder that no matter what you go through that you could do it all with a smile on your face.

J.A may be gone but his legacy will live on through his family, friends, and those that had the opportunity to know him. If you would’ve had the opportunity to really know J.A you would know that Music was his life. It wasn’t something he just did because everyone was doing it. He did music because it was in him to do it.

He was a legend to those of us he shared his gift with and empowered. For that I will always be grateful. I vow to make sure that his music lives on and the real message of MUSIC that I learned from his life will be spread to those I have the opportunity to get to know and work with. He has tremendously affected my career as both a musician as well as an industry executive. It’s only right that I dedicate the 1st ever post to remember my friend and brother in music Jon Aymos.

Stay tuned F.M.I and music on Jon Aymos
